http://thecraponthewallthatismybrain.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 19, 2008. I have a mini-vacation coming up due to that I need to use up my vacation days before the new year (they don't carry over) and I know that I won't be able to use them during sweeps and the holidays. I figured that I'd get some stuff done/fun during my four day weekend. In lieu of a day planner, I'll just use this blog space. Saturday, October 25th. 10:00am- Get free from work. 11:30am- Get last minute items. 12:30pm-4:00pm- Eat and nap. 4:00pm- 6:30pm- Last minute cleaning.

The Crap on the Wall that is My Brain: Grand Canyon
http://thecraponthewallthatismybrain.blogspot.com/2009/12/grand-canyon.html
Friday, December 25, 2009. When I visited the Grand Canyon, I found a quiet, unassuming spot to sit and stare at the earthly void. As I sat on a ledge under a tree, feet dangling over a cliff, I wrote down the following:. October 13, 2009. As I sit upon this rock a foot away from a long descent, tremors occur throughout my being. As the tremors ease in my body, I truly know what it means to gaze upon such beauty and respectfully fear it. By the way, use Bluetooth blocker. Good day, sun shines! There have...

The Crap on the Wall that is My Brain: December 2008

Miller as a screenwriter and director introduced a genre I have yet to encounter: campy noir. 160;in the comic book aside from his "Mickey Mouse" gloves. But we are not talking about whether the movie is true to its source, we are talking about the work on its own merit. 160;with the volume a...

http://underskies.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Somewhere under the sky. Thursday, December 28, 2006. On the eve of my last day in Hawai'i, i reflect that a month, depending on the circumstances, is usually not sufficient time to know a place. this can be compared to a person, i suppose. can you get to know somebody in a month's time? Hardly. the complexity of a human soul makes this impossible. thus it is with places, and even more so, since usually places have a history longer than the span of a single human life. Posted by leah v @ 2:08 AM. Today i...

Somewhere under the sky. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. So what did i do in saraguro? This entry will be for the 1st week and a half i was there. Turns out i love that world and i would gladly drop everything, buy a farm in saraguro, and live off the land. and find a husband. The other work i did involved translating tourism packets. pretty straightforward. So that s a little of my experience in this week and a half. Posted by leah v @ 8:39 AM. Saturday, June 17, 2006. http://underskies.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Somewhere under the sky. Thursday, November 30, 2006. Due to current travels, i am resurrecting the blog. i guess it never really died, but posts were random and scattered, and perhaps hard to follow. so i will be consistent, at least for this month, until school again smothers me with work. Posted by leah v @ 12:29 AM. Thursday, November 16, 2006. Where do we go from here? Where do we go from here? Violence can murder a terrorist but it will not destroy terror. America, this is where we are: we are ...
