Re-buying books – Trey Reeme
https://treyreeme.com/2009/06/20/re-buying-books
Two books I’ve repurchased after losing (don’t ask me how I can lose a book, because it baffles me, too):. The first is Jose Saramago’s. The Tale of the Unknown Island. The Tale of the Unknown Island. Imagine Plato’s cave – a parable – almost a children’s story; simple but deep. Take an hour and read it and you’ll thank me. The second is George Leonard’s. I devoured this first during my Personal MBA run with Matt four years ago. I get all caught up in the climaxes – the eagle putts of life. June 20, 2009.

https://treyreeme.com/2011/03
A week from today, I’ll begin my career at SF Fire CU. I can’t express how much I’m looking forward to being part of this team – one I’ve long admired from a distance. If I’m a little hard to find over the next week, check any McDonald’s playgrounds between Austin and San Francisco. March 8, 2011. Professionally: Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Trabian. Personally: Follower of Christ, husband, father, usually in a good mood. Writing these days at Open Source CU. Follow “Trey Reeme”.

Points that might get lost – Trey Reeme
https://treyreeme.com/2010/06/15/points
Points that might get lost. Robbie got it right. Changes to the member business lending cap. That’s a game changer. A partnership developed between FSCC, CUSC, PSCU, Fidelity, etc that enables all credit unions to become shared branches automatically. That’s a game changer…. I hope these points don’t get lost in his post. (BTW, I would argue that daily life on the CU side of the desk is, indeed, fun.). June 15, 2010. Professionally: Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Trabian.

Thoughts, Ideas, and opinion on happenings in the Financial world.and other ramblings from the mouth of a Credit Union Employee. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Scientific Method in Marketing. Ron Shevlin posted a great article. A while back about getting your business into social media. This quote from Ron really caught my attention,. I couldn’t agree with him more. Scientific method always calls for a control. Without the principals of scientific method, it isn’t really an experiment at all. Creating a cont...

Thoughts, Ideas, and opinion on happenings in the Financial world.and other ramblings from the mouth of a Credit Union Employee. Monday, January 12, 2009. Is your Board Bored? In the age of social networking, dynamic web interactions, and transparent business practices credit unions have one thing that can lift them above the rest. Something that should be just as dynamic as the credit union's interaction with its members, and just as important. It's board of directors. Labels: Board of Directors. Touchy...

The Loop: Are You Jamming

Thoughts, Ideas, and opinion on happenings in the Financial world.and other ramblings from the mouth of a Credit Union Employee. Wednesday, March 19, 2008. In my last post, I talked about creating an open environment for creativity. I'd like to go into more detail by outlining what I consider to be an ideal creative environment using a real world example. The rest of the band would then add parts to this original idea, whatever came to mind. Some things worked, others didn't, but eventually a part wo...
