Similar to infographics, which are posters that tell a story based on data of some kind, a data visualisation is dealing with seriously ‘big data’, making it easy to look at (coz they’re generally quite beautiful) and to see (coz they give a radically summarised overview and make patterns obvious), and to comprehend the implications of the patterns revealed….
