My background is in computer programming. I studied at BYU. And then received a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Along the way I started a side project, a data aggregation site aptly named AggData. It slowly grew to become a full time job (for me and 15 others now), forcing me into a life of entrepreneurship. And play piano, organ, and whatever else I can get my hands on. I enjoy life, I enjoy challenges, and wish I enjoyed mornings more.

Alan Davis: February 2008
http://alandavis1.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2008. NW ACDA Convention (Vancouver) 2008. I on the other hand only got to be at the convention for Thursday only, but it went from Thursday Feb 21 thru Saturday Feb 23. I had to leave to go back to Seattle for some Family stuff. But, I would have to say the whole highlight of my convention experience was being within 5 feet of a conducting LEGEND, Rodney Eichenberger.( http:/ www.rodneyeichenberger.com/. If Ye Love Me. Saturday, February 9, 2008. High school male singers. Since I...

Thursday, January 24, 2008. OLD BUT NEW (FOR ME). Eventhough the book is old, I find it a treasure to look into the type of training that choral conductors sought 60 years ago. I also believe that the U.S. has a superb history of choral music and I think all conductors should know as much about U.S. choral music and the history of the conductors that come before us. Here is a brief part of Father William J Finn's Biography I found online:. Labels: choral conducting book. US Choral Music History. I listen...

Alan Davis: A concert of HONOR
http://alandavis1.blogspot.com/2010/04/concert-of-honor.html
Sunday, April 18, 2010. A concert of HONOR. I am embarking on a project that is very close to my heart. The project is to form a mixed choir to perform a concert (in July or August). Now I know that I am not fully-trained yet as a choral conductor, but I am putting for a great effort, because this concert is to honor my mother (Darlene Davis) since she passed away on March 20th 2010 with cancer. However, if luck is on my side, today I will have a church to host these choir rehearsals. A concert of HONOR.
