Sew Simple and Green: Costumes
http://sewsimpleandgreen.blogspot.com/2009/10/costumes.html
Monday, October 19, 2009. Well, I am currently going back and forth between working on Christmas presents and making costumes for the girls. We don't celebrate Halloween, but we love dress-up and we were invited to a costume party. I decided that the girls would be Wynken, Blynken, and Nod, characters from a poem of the same name by Eugene Field. That way the costumes could double as pajamas, and my efforts would not be all for a one-night event. These make great house shoes! Would not be bothered by them.

A buddy that you’ve had since childhood, it could be argued, is the best and purest type of friend. Which means that when someone like that dies, particularly if it’s sudden, the hurt is deep. To hear Rio’s mother Peg Anderson tell it, her son and Cotter, along with a few other cohorts, were scamps when they were kids growing up in Redway. They were all over the neighborhood gett...
