Rise.Run.Mom.Repeat.: I Was Robbed
http://riserunmomrepeat.blogspot.com/2015/01/i-was-robbed.html
One early morning mother runner's thoughts about running, parenting and life in general. Thursday, January 8, 2015. I'm not a suspicious person. I never have been. I don't try to find the evil in others. It's just not how I'm wired. At least I wasn't. Until December 10, 2014. I debated whether or not I should write about this. Only a handful of people have heard most of the details and even fewer have heard my darkest thoughts about it. Let's start from the beginning. They were watching me. My purse was ...

And yes, it's been over 2 weeks since the Madison Mini. Enough with the excuses. Let's get to Madison! I know I've mentioned before. I'm so incredibly lucky to have that type of friendship in my life. Back to our weekend. On Thursday morning, we drove the half marathon course. It scared me to death. I knew it would be hilly, and I'd trained for h...

Rise.Run.Mom.Repeat.: Heartbreak
http://riserunmomrepeat.blogspot.com/2013/03/heartbreak.html
One early morning mother runner's thoughts about running, parenting and life in general. Thursday, March 21, 2013. I have a race in 2 weeks. It's my first half marathon of the year. I had big plans for this race. I worked hard, I got up at a ridiculous time of day to get my runs in. I was ready. On Sunday afternoon, I was exercising. Nothing unusual.until I heard a pop and found myself on the floor. Next came pain in my calf that took my breath away. Oh crap. Something is very wrong. I was pissed. I'...

And eats, and drinks, and travels! Tuesday, 30 April 2013. St Jude Country Music Nashville Race Recap. I scheduled this trip to Nashville in the dead of winter in Canada. Rise.Run.Mom.Repeat.: Catching Up
http://riserunmomrepeat.blogspot.com/2015/06/catching-up.html
One early morning mother runner's thoughts about running, parenting and life in general. Monday, June 15, 2015. This was in my fortune cookie a few weeks ago. Today is my ninth day of not running. During the training for every big race, I promise my legs that if they get me to the finish line, I'll give them time off. For the past nine days, I've been biking and walking and taking my kids to the water park but I have not been running. My hiatus is coming to an end and tomorrow, on day 10, I will run.
