Diabetes, COPD, Psoriasis and Arthritis all take their toll on one’s body but living here most of the time I don’t notice the aches and pains – there is just too much beauty around. I wonder what I will get for my birthday tomorrow. I think this year is going to be rather sparse on the present front. Jeff told me I am not allowed to ask for wire netting and fence posts! Or perhaps a present!

Half of me felt very pleased and half felt that I could have done that on any old diet – I rather thought on this diet I would lose much more – silly right? I made a juice with 3 apples, 1 orange and 1 small sweet potato. So to conclude – no downside as of yet. A slight squirm when Jeff has roast chicken and warms it up the following evening but coped.
