I'm finally getting around to seeing some of the big summer movies; 6 weeks after everyone else has seen em. Man, seems there's nothing but sequels this summer. Lotsa bad sequels too. Was anyone out there screaming for a Fantastic Four follow up? The first one was dreadful. :O. On the CD front, I'm still digesting Icky Thump in anticipation of the White Stripes concert in a couple of weeks. But I like it on first listen. More movie and music reviews later! Hockey afternoon in Canada. What better way to spend Thanksgiving than watching a hockey game! We have tickets for the Devils vs. Sens game today, and since it's our first game of the year, I'm really excited. :) I like Sports, but hockey is the one I watch the most closely, followed by football (NFL and CFL). In hockey, I tend to root for most of the Canadian teams other than Montreal, which is the team I love to hate. I also like Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Detroit, and Boston. When we moved, we decided to cancel our cable TV. Honestly, I didn't use it too much. I can't stand watching regular shows coz there are too many commercials. I'd rather wait and watch my TV on DVD. There are only a couple of shows I like anyway. One thing I did too much of was watch sports. It was easy to find some kind of hockey game on and flop down to watch the last period. Brainless puck chasings. I could have used a lot of that time for more meaningful acitivites. Post a new comment.

An unexpected gift that my parents brought back from Mexico for me was a glass jar of mole sauce. It smells sweet, a bit like paprika. I'm wondering if the spice store mixed in other things with it.
