Just Me And My Guys. Day to day life with my husband and 4 boys. that's right, I said 4 BOYS! Sunday, August 12, 2012. A neighbor came down about a year ago and asked if I wanted an old picnic table for my boys. I jumped on it. Unfortunately, it was pretty beat up so we've just used it as an outside table. Then I found this link. On Pinterest and realized how easy it would be to recover it. It was so cute and I couldn't resist giving it a try! Hope the kids love it and you get a lot of use out of it :).

Friday, October 30, 2009. These Are) A Few of my Favorite Things. These cheeks. They kill me. These blue eyes. Where did they come from? Will they stay around? We don't know, but we sure like them. These dumply, chubby thighs. Is dumply a word? These sweet hands. She holds her hands together all the time. I love it. The dimples in these elbows. These rubber band wrists. Did I mention these sweet hands? I just love them. The expressions, the sweet noises, and every single minute with this sweet baby.

Friday, January 18, 2008. A nice man stopped and changed my tire while holding a cup of coffee. Saturday night we went to see "The Pajama Game" at McNary High School (my student plays the lead - yes! The girls were so sweet, and loved clapping at all the right parts. Hannah did great staying in her seat, but Megan was in the Lobby most of the time. Learn the DAMN German! Sunday, January 25, 2009. Last week we had a rare snow day in Charlotte. We only got a dusting at our house, but other parts of Charlotte got more. My parents got about four inches at their house, as you can see from this picture my Mom sent. But even with our modest 1/2", Sophie was thrilled. A few weeks ago, Michael brought home some boxes from school, and made Harrison and incredible fort! He played in it and love it a ton, but I needed my living room back, and the day came to take it down! We have had such a fun few weeks…and it all started with a box! How impressive is that! Although Harrison’s birthday is a great day, and I have lots of good, then bad, then good memories of that day, his Gotcha Day is the day I finally was able to breath! June 6th will always bring a feeling of ease and calm at the end of “the perfect storm”! I feel like my life is flashing before my eyes, and not because I’ve been in a tragedy, but because there is no possible way that my baby boy is 18 months old…yet today we visited the Doctor for Harrison’s 18 month check up! Could I just be dreaming, or is it possible that my INFANT son is walking and talking, and yes, even at times, throwing fits! I guess I must have blinked! November 2, 2009.
