Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Well Something happened. And despite my embarrassment, it must be blogged about. But let's start at the beginning. Once upon a time, I had long awesome hair! But it was also incredibly damaged.so I cut it off. It looked awesome! The girl that cut it was an artist! It looked so good that I thought, HEY! I should go shorter! And no one talked me out of it. Well, Nick tried. Bless his soul. So I got a hair cut. Worst haircut I've ever had in my life. Curls I MISS Curley hair!

Friday, February 6, 2015. Well, it's been awhile since I updated! Thing got so crazy once we got to PA, it has been a whirlwind of unpacking. But man do we love it! Here's the gist :). We toes up to the house and the movers were already here. Look at that big rig! Don't worry, our stuff only took up a small portion of it. Haha. We weren't allowed to help them bring anything in, so we just kinda hung out and told them where to put stuff. Isn't Nick sooooo handsome! The boys have been THRIVING in the space!

Thursday, February 28, 2013. Next I made this for the Seymour girls. It was with pom pom yarn. It is thin yarn with a pom pom every inch. You knit with the thin part and the pom poms line up like little puff balls. Doesn't it look adorable on Madelyn? Monday, February 11, 2013. Her mom dressed her up so cute in her Rapunzel dress, and gave her beautiful princess hair. An enchanted little girl. When all the cousins were here at Christmas time we went ice skating. Sunday, April 21, 2013. I feel so lucky to be able to go outside and pick a lovely centerpiece for the Sunday dinner table every week. I enjoy it all week long. My niece Megan and her family came to visit. While I was finishing dinner the kids explored the yard. That involved picking up limes, which they washed, and then wanted to make limeade. They called it limonade. Here are Andrew, Sydney and Megan squeezing the limes. The daddys, Spencer and Jared with the new babies, Kolbie and Jacob.

Drake Days: Zoo

Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Another day we did actually make it to the zoo. We had to take Ashlyn out of school to accomplish the feat. The Folsom Zoo is just a little zoo with local area animals. It was really fun and we got to see a keeper feeding the bear. Brooklyn was the cutest animal of all. There were many peacocks just wandering around. I tried to get the girls pictures with them. When they got too close the girls would scatter. I finally got a good shot. With a couple of trips we covered them all.

Saturday, March 22, 2014. Mike has been taking the girls rock climbing. Since I was there to watch the girls both Erin and Mike could climb. Ashlyn was fearless in climbing way to the top. Erin was able to take the belaying class so that she could belay Mike. Erin was pretty brave too. Madelyn would just zip to the top. It was really fun watching everyone climb. Sunday, January 20, 2013. I decided that I wanted to knit some scarves, but it is really too warm here to wear them much, so I knitted this one for Erin. It was made with a fun yarn that has bumpy parts, fluffy parts, and a little bit of sparkly parts. Hopefully Erin will like it, and it will keep her warm and stylish in cold Sacramento. Thursday, January 03, 2013. We took a picnic to the park and. Picked up Grandma and Grandpa to enjoy the sunshine. Ashlyn and Madelyn playing at the edge of the water.

Thursday, March 20, 2014. Erin and Mike took me out for Sushi because they know how much I love it. Actually their family really loves it too. They all ate it really well. They ate whole pieces of Sushi with chopsticks, even when the pieces were as big as their mouths.
