Brent Osborn is teaming up with a local farmer to produce locally grown hops. They are hoping to have funding in place now and have hops available as soon as 2014. At midnight Monday night, September 30th, 2013 the United States federal government began to shutdown due to a failure by Congress to pass a budget. Now you ask what does that have to do with beer? TTB would halt its regulatory functions, non-criminal investigative activities and audit functions. Hopefully Congress can get it...
