10th Annual Contest Now Open! Apr 1, 2014. Black Warrior Review’s. Tenth-annual contest is now open, and we’re honored to have Richard Siken. Poetry), Lily Hoang. Fiction/Prose), and Kiese Laymon. Nonfiction) as our guest judges. Winners in each genre receive a $1,000 prize and publication in BWR 41.2, our Spring/Summer 2015 issue.
