We can arrange for this "visit" in person or by phone, with a person of the same gender and of similar age and diagnosis. Our visiting program works in cooperation with the American Cancer Society. Ostomy Association of Southern Jersey. People of all ages and from all walks of life may have a stoma. We work as a team to help every person become as fully rehabilitated as possible. We meet as a support group each month to share experiences and answer questions for each other. Often there will be a speaker or formal program, but our most popular meetings are simple sharing. It is not necessary to be a member of the Ostomy Association of Southern Jersey in order to attend support group meetings.
