Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Spencer is doing very well - he LOVES his office. Its the perfect space for him, and he is able to accomplish what he needs to in a more relaxed atmosphere. The kids are better about listening to mommy and not disturbing daddy because they have room to roam. Playroom, living room, kitchen, their own rooms, and a HUGE yard. He LOVES the classes, and the challenge of being in school again. The program is 10 classes, each 8 weeks long. He finished his first class this past week with an A :) I am so proud of him! Friday, March 27, 2009. Happy 1st birthday my sweet baby James. After 26 hours of labor, 2 hours of pushing, and an emergency c section, our son came into this world, with bright open eyes, and a look of sweet wonder, at 9:51pm March 27th, 2008. Monday, July 6, 2009. This morning I was racing around getting my blood test done for the surgery, grocery shopping and cleaning, that when I put James down I noticed I didn't feel very good. I got the chills and felt weak. I had a fever! Not surprised since I'm so tired. But James is still in the midst of a 3 hour nap so I was able to rest and feel a little better. Tyelonol is amazing. Tonight is my last day of work before surgery - I wish I could stay home since i feel sick, but oh well.

So the plan is to stop the prednisone and plaquinil, start taking mad amounts of folic acid in preparation to start chemo one week from today, which is also the day that Spencer leaves for his 8 day conference in Atlanta. I thought that was a kissing disease that only teenagers get. Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Its been almost a month! OH my - been a month since my last post. I'm determined to keep up with this. I'm pretty tired, but I wanted to write just a few things down. 1) The power of prayer is amazing. 2) Our backyard is finally flat - one week of some very determined landscapers and they ripped up, regraded and made it flat. And its HUGE. In the fall we will seed it, as it would be a waste of money to do it in the summer when the grass is most vulnerable. 10) I am blessed.
