We were so blessed this past week to be on lake hartwell at this gorgeous house and play with fun fun toys on the lake. outside was were we stayed day and night. Since i have been so bad at updates, i am going to give you tons of pics b/c that is my fav part of blogs. ). We rode these all day long. Sweet boo with a book always by her side.

The ironic thing about this happening is that i am reading a book about raising boys to become the strong men of charachter God created them to be (especially in this culture of men being feminized. ). i was not helping the cause in this moment. If anyone has 55 minutes to sit and listen to a testimony on the internet. i highly recommend this. Woman's. she was a young woman (wife and mother of two young ones) who died of cancer very bravely, and gave her testimony to a group of ladies before she passed away. We headed to the beach last week with adam's entire family (40 ish people) and had a blast. aj LOVED the "ochh". we were out there morning and evening. thank goodness we got a beach buddy. I do not really like any of my pics, so i will just give a few. ). Aj and sazy with their cousins. precious time. Cup cake had her choosen spots on the beach. Yall are so dang cute! You look so great!

Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Addison started preschool yesterday! Addie has been talking about going to preschool since May of this past year at least. I mean, every day she asked if it was time for preschool yet. So Brandon and I dropped her off yesterday and she seems distracted and not really aware of the fact that the long awaited day has finally arrived. Kinda like No big deal, mom. I took her to McDonald's playland for lunch and the girl narrated her every move to me from the play area. Figures.

Tuesday, August 24, 2010. My little man has taken many "first steps", but on Sunday he took two steps. This morning he took four toward his daddy (whose back was toward him so he missed it) and this afternoon he rocked 15 steps toward Elmo on the tv. Figures, doesn't it? He was so cute. He has made many more attempts since then and even put a little speed behind some of them. : ) I wanted a close-up video, so it's sideways.you get the idea, right? Grandma and Grandpa Lacey are so proud of you!

Addison turned three in May and is having fun dressing up, using her imagination, and practicing her potty-training. Yay! Brandon and I are still working on remodeling our house.
