Our Boys and Me. Wednesday, May 18, 2016. I'm a loser and love seeing what other moms feed their kids. I get in a slump every once in a while and don't know WHAT to feed my kids . Like really .lunchtime is the worst! So here are just random meals and honestly my 16 month old is going through the picky stage so it's a complete guess if he will eat what I fix but everything I am showing he either ate or tried (and then puts the rest in a cup hole on his high hair or throws on the floor! Crockpot Beef and Broccoli. Crockpot recipe #25 is beef and broccoli. I served this over rice and with a side of fruit. Crockpot Beef and Broccoli. 1 pound boneless beef chuck roast, sliced into strips (this is the hardest part! 1 c beef consumme. 1/2 c soy sauce. 1/3 c brown sugar. 1 Tbsp. sesame oil. 1 Tbsp. garlic powder or 3 garlic cloves, minced. 2 Tbsp. cornstarch. Broccoli florets or broccoli cuts (fresh or frozen). Place sliced beef in crockpot. Pour this over the beef. Cook on LOW for 6-8 hrs.

About a week and 1/2 ago, Tim, the kids and I flew down to Arkansas to surprise my mom. She turned a big number on the 10th of this month. My dad called me several months ago with a plan to fly us down there to surprise her. We couldn't go on her actual birthday so we went almost a week after, which probably was MORE of a surprise. We were blessed to have some gals come over from our local Community College to spend time with our family. I cooked everything.which if you know me.all I really do is crockpot cooking!
