ROUND 6 and 7. Today October 7th we had an appointment in Cleveland for radiation staging. This is where they map and pinpoint where they? Re going to focus the radiation. They find this through CT scans and MRI over lays then they mark the body with small tattoos. Radiation kills cancer cells in the tissue of the tumor making it shrink. ROUND 6 and 7. Well today is the day. We want to share this journey with you to keep you updated, help keep us positive, and to have something to show Maddie of what a fighter her daddy is! The first photo is of his port that was placed two weeks ago. This is where the IV is hooked up for chemo. He said it didn't hurt! On Wednesday he will get his chemo pump off in Athens Ohio. We are getting chemo treatment about an hour from home in Lancaster Ohio -Fairfield Medical Center. Love Nathan, Amber and Maddie.

ROUND 6 and 7. On the 26th we had a meeting with the liver surgeon and medical oncologist radiologist. We will meet the other surgeons on our next trip. Nathan will be getting a European approach with getting 5 straight days of radiation for one week prior to surgery. The surgery is going to be scheduled the week of the 21st of October. Nathan Maddie and I got the fire wood done this week! We also got the wood stove ready to rock! Thanks to our helpers too! Nathan, Amber and Maddie. Round 6 and 7.
