The Daily Mews: November 2009
http://ourdailymews.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 20, 2009. First I did this larger still life of some limes as practice. I think I like it better than the 6x6 I want to use in my new kitchen! I need for it to dry for me to get a decent picture, so please excuse the odd angle. Here is a 6x6 canvas of limes I hope to put in my kitchen. It will for with one of an avocado, in the works, and some future works of an onion and a pepper.Quacamole. I used a 2 3/8 inch profile canvas and painted the sides. Some small still lifes. I apologize, th...
The Daily Mews: Back at it!
http://ourdailymews.blogspot.com/2013/07/back-at-it.html
Monday, July 8, 2013. Anyone who follows my blog (and I would be surprised there was any one doing THAT) knows it has been some years since I have posted anything new. Well, I recently enrolled in a watercolor class, and that will change. Hopefully I can find it as therapeutic as oil painting. And since I have had one offer to buy soemthing, MAYBE I can cover costs somewhat (though that block paper is super expensive.ag! I'll post a bowl of apples I did in class that did not turn out too bad either.

Long time no see! July 22, 2015. So it’s been a couple of years since I’ve posted on here…. yeah… well… you know how that thing called life happens sometimes…. Anyways, we are now well established in our home. We have 37 chickens, 1 turkey, 8 goats, 5 pigs, 3 bunnies, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a lizard. I haven’t been quite so successful with the gardening yet. Apparently I have the blackest thumb in the world! Loving the farm life so far though! I do plan on posting on this site some more now that I’m f...

Committed to uplifting people with words of inspiration and hope. Wednesday, April 11, 2018. I know purpose comes from within. It works from the inside making it's presence known on the outside. I consciously choose to use live out my purpose, to magnify it to it's highest and best. This is not ego or arrogance. it's my Divine Intent, what God called and created me to be and do. Are you looking for your purpose everywhere but within? Tuesday, April 10, 2018. What is that one thing that fuels your passion?
The Daily Mews
Thursday, July 25, 2013. I loved the colors of this hydrangea bloom. Alas, it was not that easy to nail down in watercolor paints. It almost looks like an abstract, and I do love the colors, even if it does not look like the original all that much. Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Three Small Still Lives. Three Small Still Lives. This trio of still lives were fun to do and I think they turned out well. Here the first one, of a flower arrangement in a green tea pot (I put the photo I painted from below it). I don'...
