Hallelujah. I hear angels singing. My kids are thriving! Thriving, I tell you! If I could have written a script for the beginning of the school year, I could not have written it any better. Much of the crap has been, if not removed, at least made manageable. Much of the hard has been replaced with sweet. I feel as though most of the crazy in my days stems from the fact that I have 6 children and life is busy. Two years of doing the hard work of dealing with trauma and grief, two years of shared meals and memories and bedtimes prayers, two years of living and loving each other before we would start to feel normal.
