Aaron and I were recently discussing resolutions. We have never really made any together and he thought that this year we should try to come up with some that would involve our entire family. A few that I immediately thought of were:. Have a date night one night a month. Even if it is just out to grab a cup of coffee. 4 In ...

Saving money, stretching my dollars and digging myself out of debt. Green and Frugal Fridays. Green and Frugal Fridays. When I first got interested in being more ec0-friendly I decided that I would make a change if it:. A) was basically pain free for the entire family. B) it did not cost me more money than normal! I have made a lot of simple changes that most people (including my family) probably don’t even notice but that will have an impact in the long run. Click on the tip to be linked to the post!

Saving money, stretching my dollars and digging myself out of debt. Green and Frugal Fridays. My name is Laura and I am addicted to coupons. I have never been a coupon user before. And the more I use them the more I realize how much money I have been wasting all these years! There are a few things that I didn’t know about coupons that I have recently learned. 3–Kroger’s and Martin’s will double coupons. 5–You can ‘stack’ coupons. For instance, let’s say you have a Target store...I bought some baseball ca...

My sweet little 2 month old (wow, really? 2 months old already? Is sick. She has thrush in her mouth. And on her bottom. And now she is hoarse. Her little quiet cry is so sad. Saturday, July 27, 2013. Colin is 5 Years Old! Colin had a birthday party with lots of friends from school and the neighborhood. He specifically requested a "fireworks" themed party which worked really well for me since all of the July 4th decorations were 50-75% off! The party was at a local playground and it was a hit with all the guests. Colin was also surprisingly metldown free! So whats new with the big 5 year old? Thursday, December 26, 2013. Christmas Card (with out takes). All in all I was thrilled with how they came out. The kids had so much fun taking the pictures. If it weren't below freezing when we took them we probably could have gone on for quite some time. Here are some of the more amusing outtakes from our photo shoot. The first few pictures the only snow in the shot was from Colin. Meghans technique was less than effective at actually getting the snow to move. Here shes moving so fast she is just a blur.

Friday, April 18, 2014. We are buying a house! We aren't going to be homeless. We are now officially in contract on our apartment and on a house! We are scheduled to close on the house a few days before we close on the apartment but nothing is finalized. The house we are buying is in a great neighborhood and a great school district. It has a nice sized backyard for the area and we got it for a great price. The catch? The front of the house. I love the beautiful bow window! The living room and dining room.
