Monday, September 27, 2010. Little J came to hang out with us a couple weekends ago. My sister and brother in-law, Lynn and Darryl, help with the bike race, Logan to Jackson. I had such a fun time. I led Little J on Snowball. She absolutely loved it. She loved it so much we walked around for 2 hours because she wasn't ready to get off the horse. We then went to see Grandma and Grandpa Merritt. Saturday, March 9, 2013. We were taken on a tour of Bangkok today! We got to take our picture with the royal guard. I wasn't sure we were going to get a picture as a bunch of Chinese people came up and didn't want to wait their turn to take their photos. After the Grand Palace we got to ride in tuk tuks around the city! Our driver gave us masks to help filter out the exhaust. Don't we look cute? Pretty sure we looked like tourists on this ride. We had a lot of tuk tuks rented! View my complete profile.

Tuesday, February 8, 2011. We arrived in Guatemala City around 6 in the morning. Red eye flights are never fun. Especially since we have stuff planned for the whole day. Thursday's are market days in Chichicastenango. So that is where we were headed first. When we arrived we went to a hotel/museum. This is where we saw these awesome parrots. They were the first birds to greet us in Spanish. We were exhausted by the time we finally made it to our hotel. Hotel Atitlan. Located on Lake Atitlan. We went to a...

Saturday, March 9, 2013. Today was our opportunity to explore Bangkok on our own. On our way to the "Sky Train" we found this little tribute to Buddha at our hotel. We rode the sky train to their 7 story mall, which turned out to be a huge street market inside. We did stop at a juice store and got smoothies. C also got a young coconut to drink. He loved it. On our way back to the sky train we saw this Thai kick boxing arena. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Sunday, March 10, 2013. We got to go to church today! It was really fun because we were expecting to not understand anything. When we got there the missionaries set up headsets for some of us and they were going to translate, but there were too many of us for all of us to have headsets. However, it turned out that an interpreter stood at the stand as one of the general authorities 70's and his wife was speaking English so we understood everything! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sunday, March 10, 2013. Today was the best day of the whole trip! We started the day by going to the Maetamann Elephant Camp and Rafting. When we arrived there, there was a baby elephant! It was so cute! We went to a picnic area that had a bunch of tables and a picnic basket for everyone. Man was that a lot of food! Every person had their own! After lunch, we were headed to watch how they bathe the elephants when we came upon these elephants! It kept asking for bananas! It was a pretty hot day so we got ...

This would amaze me every time. Karyssa. Had no fear of the horses. She would lead Ebby. Waiting for me to catch the horses. In the paddle boat and Chad and Kaylynn. To our combined YM.

We’re loving our new place! Aside from the accessibility of our place to other parts of Metro Manila ( with the MRT station and bus stop just just below us), it also has a surplus shop nearby. It’s a very big surplus shop and they just have everything from books to used victoria. Small, Cozy Home. Even if our unit seems very small, but it’s cute and cozy. But honestly, it took me about two days to really adjust with the size and the noise from the busy hi-way in front. All bags are packed and now we&#821...
