Our Journey to Adelaide
Saturday, April 4, 2009. 1 year anniversary of "Referral Day". Exactly one year ago today we received the amazing news that the Chinese adoption agency had "matched" us to our new daughter. That will teach Eloise to mess with "sissy". 2 When A...

The boys are all back in school. They enjoy their classes and their teachers. Their teachers this year are really great, and I can relax a bit knowing that every one of them is learning lots, and it is just my job to support them in their homework this year. Hooray! Anna is coming along beautifully! Thursday, August 11, 2011.

Our journey to a party of 5
Our journey to a party of 5. Friday, June 14, 2013. How are things going? I get asked this all the time and I usually say, "fine" or "great" or my favorite, "great, but tired." I mean really, what are you supposed to say? When you bring a new baby home from the hospital, you say "great" because this is the baby that you wanted forever and he or she is so cute and tiny and they should. Things are great,. It's like bringing a newborn home, except easier and harder. Got it? In the mean time, she is starting...

Tomorrow Farm Fiber Arts
April 20, 2012. Friday Fiber Arts Dyeing Wool for Felting. The last week has been pretty nice here, weather-wise. Lots of warm days means I can get some wool dyeing done. I like to dye an entire rainbow although I didn't get the whole thing done this week. I'm missing some of the blues and brown. Here's several of them hanging on the clothesline to dry. After they're dry I split them up into small pieces and make small packs of wool tidbits for felting. Do you felt? Do you have something to share? That&#...

Our Journey to a Venice
Our Journey to a Venice. Monday, October 21, 2013. Well Friday started out great. 2 of the 3 movers we had when we moved out of our home in August were part of the delivery team. These 2 guys were great and we were very happy to have them back. And then they started to unload our items. One of the legs on our nightstands has a large slice of the wood taken off. One of the legs on the entertainment stand bent in half about an inch up from the bottom of the leg. E's retro desk chair is all scratched. Our l...
