Friday, December 31, 2010. New Year, New House, New Life! Http:/ ourjourneytohannahclaire.blogspot.com/. Http:/ thegriffinfamilyherald.blogspot.com/. Just as we are all settled in with our daughter, now we have decided to move (figures)! Thank goodness we're only moving to another house in our same town, though, only 4 miles away. The difference is we'll have a little over 2 and a half more times the space than our current house! I have felt his presence so much lately after having a long period of not f...

The Griffin Family Herald: August 2010
http://thegriffinfamilyherald.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Last night we signed Miles up to be a Tiger Cub in the Boy Scouts! Chip was a Cub Scout when he was a kid, and I was a Girl Scout briefly, and I've always wanted my kids to be in scouting too. I'm hoping Miles will stay in it much longer than Chip or I did, though, all the way to Eagle Scout. I am just so excited about scouting! I'll end this post with a shot of my adorable Tiger Cub:. Sunday, August 22, 2010. In fact, sometimes when I think about it, it almost doesn't seem like...

The Griffin Family Herald: May 2009
http://thegriffinfamilyherald.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2009. We didn't really do much all weekend except stay around the cabin. We went into town a couple of times to go to the store and eat, and we even drove about 20 miles to Pauls Valley to visit the Toy and Action Figure Museum (Miles had a blast there! I know the Arbuckles are hardly. Needless to say, I did not want to come home! Two days just wasn't enough time to spend in that wonderful place. We will definitely have to go back sometime when we can spend more than 2 days.

Saturday, February 20, 2010. A few weeks ago, we had Miles's sixth birthday party. We did it a week early, since my brother was getting married the next weekend. We kept it really low-key this year. Just us, Granny and Grandaddy, Meema and Jason. Miles and Jason enjoying the birthday cake:. The official Birthday Jedi Knight:. I ask Miles every once in a while, "What happened to that tiny little baby I brought home from the hospital? He usually answers, "I grew! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Spice Rack: May 2009
http://thespicerack09.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 28, 2009. Here's what I'm doing:. So I started following him around, imitating his movements as we raced and played out all sorts of scenes from his imagination. On the surface you might be thinking, so what, how is that a workout? To this I ask you, have you ever tried to follow a 5-year-old around and perform his every movement? They are fast and don't stop! Do this for 20-30 minutes and you WILL be tired when you're done! French Women Don't Get Fat. Most important, don't give up! After I...

The Spice Rack: March 2009
http://thespicerack09.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 26, 2009. Real Food and Weight Loss. Since January, I've been trying to lose about 15 pounds. It seems like that would be so easy, but it has not been for me. So in the past few months I've put myself through a few tactics in hopes that I could shed those pounds and get back down to my high school weight. Unrealisitc? Maybe I mean, I would be happy to lose even just 10 pounds, which doesn't seem an unreasonable goal to me. But it has just been so hard for me. A couple of pounds! Of course...

The Spice Rack: Using a Nose Bidet
http://thespicerack09.blogspot.com/2010/03/using-nose-bidet.html
Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Using a Nose Bidet. It’s really very simple. Put warm, distilled water and pharmaceutical-grade, non-iodized salt in it, then pour the solution into one nostril with your head tipped to one side. The water should flow into your nostril, up through your sinuses, then out the other sinus. Blow your nose, then repeat on the other side. It’s that easy! He uses the nose bidet 3 times a week, and it has completely wiped out his sinus problems! Use only pure salt. You can get pharma...
