Hannah Claire Shi Lin. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. We are really settling in now and finding our new normal. Of course, I'm still learning how to deal with the added stress of having two kids versus one, but it is definitely so much better. Hannah is starting to say more English words, mostly when repeating what we say, but she did ask for bubbles in her bath the other day by saying, "bubble"! Last week I completed the last of gathering stool samples from Hannah. Boy was that fun! More photos to come soon!

Her new ear is beautiful! We now have an appointment to go to talk to another surgeon who can tell us about options for restoring her hearing in her left ear. Lori @ Five of My Own. Chip was a Cub Scout when he was a kid, and I was a Girl Scout briefly, and I've always wanted my kids to be in scouting too. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. We didn't really do much all weekend except stay around the cabin. We went into town a couple of times to go to the store and eat, and we even drove about 20 miles to Pauls Valley to visit the Toy and Action Figure Museum (Miles had a blast there! I know the Arbuckles are hardly. Needless to say, I did not want to come home! Two days just wasn't enough time to spend in that wonderful place. We will definitely have to go back sometime when we can spend more than 2 days.

Even though we will miss Susan every minute of every day, we are determined to live in a place of joy and without regret. We discovered anew the richness of friends and family as they gathered around us in our time of tragedy. Saturday, June 20, 2015. It's early here and everyone is still asleep. I decided to steal some time to update this old blog and drink my coffee. We are in the mist of summer around here. Kids are home, Riley's work schedule changed from 6:30-3:30 (love love love), swimming, karate, art class, library time and just plain crazy relaxing. So much to tell. So I'll back up a little. :).
