Our African Adoption Journey. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. We have so much to tell you. We are back, have our precious daughter and had the trip of a lifetime! We will have to break our trip up into many blog entries because we want to tell you all about it! Every single thing about the entire week was simply amazing! The best of all was getting our sweet Mahelet! She is just AMAZING! A few things about her. She has a wonderful big sister who loves her and is so patient with her.

Our African Adoption Journey. Monday, October 27, 2008. The next few weeks will consist of us finding out our court date and then we will travel about a month after that. We are hoping this will be early next year. Also, we wanted to let you know that we have a new fundraiser to help us with the remainder of our adoption expenses. Our African Adoption Journey. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. We are 17 days away from our departure to Ethiopia to pick up our little girl Mahelet! Excited is an understatement. One of the things we are going to do while we are there is bring a few supplies as well as have a small celebration at the orphanage she has been at these past several months. We plan to bring small gifts to all the children, supplies for the team working there, and a guitar to leave behind for them to keep. 1 bubbles for blowing.
