Wednesday, October 30, 2013. And Some Exciting Changes! A couple of weeks ago, I started a series showing you step by step how to makeover a room. And then I pretty much disappeared. I am sooooo sorry! What can I say? And that's how it pretty much goes when making over any room. Life still goes on. It doesn't stop just because you're in the middle of a room makeover. Even though sometimes I wish it would! There are still football games, volunteer commitments, laundry to do,. We were going to be making?

Monday, November 11, 2013. Along For The Ride: Putting It All Together {Living Room Mini Reveal}. I sure have done a poor job with blogging lately, haven't I? I suppose with everything that's going on, I'm in a blogging slump. I spend my days chasing Jaeger. To keep him from peeing, pooing, chewing, and mauling cats. I never thought a puppy could be a full time job! But we are enjoying him, even if it means things are put on hold for a while. Or not done as quickly as they would be otherwise. It's a much...

Welcome to our home! Circa 1905 when it was completed after three long years of building. When we moved in. After cleaning up the jungle of yard, piles of junk everywhere,. And replacing all of the "Have To's",. We quickly moved inside to begin making the house our own. It's been a long process, but over the last couple of years. We've been able to make a dent in this big ole place. This is our Living Room. It's soon to get a another makeover,. And a new wall color to brighten the space up. Oh, you know ...

Funnily enough, they're all pretty much all my faves too! Starting the countdown with #5 is our. I am still in love with the summery yellow color and horizontal stripes,. Make sure homemade wall art has secure wiring to hang it. Mine broke and the heavy wood shattered the top of the toilet. The next one kind of surprised me a bit,.

Heather and Her Guys: February 2014
http://heathersguys.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Heather and Her Guys. February 16, 2014. Winter is no fun without some snow fun! Asher and I went ice fishing for the first time. He was thrilled to catch his first fish! Asher stares in excitement and surprise but backs away as the trout jumps off the hook and flops on the ground. He can't wait to get home to tell dad all about it and show brother pictures and the fish! Asher had quite the fort set up in the yard. Ezra is happy to climb hills and make snow angels. February 13, 2014. Write on, Valentine!

Sunday, February 26, 2012. Well, I don't know how you do it at your house but Sunday Dinner at the Triple P is serious! We get out of church around noon and since we live just a few blocks from church, we can get home and get a jump start on this all important meal. Everyone races in the door, takes off their Sunday best and changes into "comfy clothes". We are usually sitting down to eat by around 1:00 but this particular meal took a little longer.but tasted that much better! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
Heather and Her Guys: Hiking the Marsh
http://heathersguys.blogspot.com/2014/07/hiking-marsh.html
Heather and Her Guys. July 7, 2014. My boys never get sick of climbing trees, finding sticks of all sizes (but especially the big ones), and hiking. Our family has always really enjoyed hiking the marsh in La Crosse. The scenery is so beautiful. What the boys love most about hiking here is all the animals we've seen in the marsh. I can never snap a shot of the red cardinals fast enough, but here are two other birds we've seen:. Painted Turtle close up. Painted Turtles out on a log. Down On The Farm.

What kid doesn't like shooting, learning about fish, and starting a fire by spinning a stick? Needless to say the Youth Outdoor Fest was a hit with the boys today. We were happy that we got through most of the stations before it started to sprinkle. Ezra enjoyed sling shot and archery practice. He was thrilled that one of the targets was a T-rex. Heather and Her Guys: December 2013
http://heathersguys.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Heather and Her Guys. December 19, 2013. The children were excited to participate in our church's Christmas program on December 15th. We were excited that they stayed on the stage and actually sang the songs. Asher sang "The First Noel" and the following song:. Is your Heart a Manger? Is your heart a manger? Is there any room for Him? Is your heart a manger? Does it cradle the babe of Bethlehem? If He came again tonight would you let him in? Like a modern day Wise Man would you follow the light? The chil...

Our Prairie Home
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Hello My Friends.:. It's been a while eh? Since my last post. Since my last post, I have successfully moved from Edmonton, AB to Ottawa. Jeremie has found work and I am apartment hunting! I'm pretty excited about that, and am very much looking forward to my own place again. I had a lovely birthday since. In other news, I am desperately trying to grow out my hair. My husband loves long hair, but since dating me, I have never had longer than mid-neck length. It's not much, and si...

Our Pratt Pack
Thursday, October 20, 2011. While we were in Medford for Todd and Kinli's surgeries and my de-banding of braces we decided we should celebrate Kaprice's birthday while our family was all together (Todd had already started his new job in a new area so we had already been a part a week). Matches for candles because Mom forgot to pack them. The ceremonial First Bite. There was also dancing with cousins. And what's a Party without a trip down the Zip-line with Cousin Sarah.
