Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Metcalfe Weekend # 2. Off to Sonoma County we go! We went off to Sonoma and lucked out BIG time cause it was Wine Barrel tasting! It is an event where you pay $20 for the whole weekend and that gets you a wrist band, a wine glass, and entry into over 100 wineries for tastings - many with straight out of the barrel tastings! So our carefully planned weekend, got switched around a little bit and we enjoyed a wine tour of Sonoma! Only 3 weeks left! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

So far we have gone to Nick's Crispy Taco's, Mama's on Washington, Fishermans Wharf, Cable Car Museum, Golden Gate Park and The Cliff House. and they just got here yesterday afternoon! Tomorrow we are doing a SF movie Tour, Tea at Lovejoys Tea. Room and shopping for the girls and riding bikes over the Golden Gate Bridge for the boys. We might even make an appearance at Rosamunde's Sausage Grill and Toronado Bar. Sunset at the Cliff house. CA makes us Happy!

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Right down the street from our hotel was Dennis the Menace park- there were cool things to plan on and statues of him and it was just a wonderful park for kids! So, last weekend I got to go to a career fair for translation and localization. It was in a town called Monterey that is trying to get itself the nickname of the "language capital of the world.". Then we went to this place called Latitudes for a drink during happy hour - it was right on the water and it was beautiful...
