https://ourtravelmoments.wordpress.com/2015/03/25/oz-round-up-pt-i-uluru-the-rock-of-ages
Oz Round-up Pt. I: Uluru, the Rock of Ages. March 25, 2015. February 8, 2017. I’m a sentimental bastard at heart. Like something out of Finding Nemo, but more on that another time. Once we hit Cairns at the north-eastern tip of Queensland, we found we still had a few weeks to spare, so we hotfooted it to the ‘Red Centre’, which is the posh way of saying ‘the desert’. Alice Springs beckoned as the starting point of our three-day Emu Run Tour. To see one of Australia’s major icons: no, not Harold from.

That’s right – like a dodgy movie sequel, we’re back by popular demand. Okay – we might have made up the bit about popular demand – but we’ve been busy chopping a few bits, changing a fews bobs, and generally giving the whole site a bit of a revamp. And now our shiny new toy is finally coming out the box. Would you believe it? The dastardly little virus that has been plaguing us for years has proved too hard to shake once again. But it’s not all shiny and new. Those budding Indiana Joneses amongst yo...

December 21, 2014. February 8, 2017. A Reflection: A Gentleman’s Perspective on the Sisterland. Good ‘morrow my fine young squires and squiresses! The fair young maiden Lady Jody Louise Pendragon Clarke III and I have only one whole sleep left before we board our passenger-cum-tinned-sardine vessel. We have abided here for nine months! Watching for The Jetstar to arrive in port. One would be laughed off the park. “Preposterous! 8221;, “Poppycock! 8221;, “Absolute tommyrot! Champions of the World. Lest us...

November 13, 2014. February 8, 2017. It Takes Two to Tandem. Welcome to Martinborough population 1,300. Now, this is New Zealand after all, so something is bound to be a bit different from what you expect. Just picture a bank holiday weekend in the UK the world seems to come alive, right? But, we were told, this is because everybody leaves the cities for a long weekend away elsewhere. Places like Martinborough, for example. So we sat outside a bar called Cool Change. Across the road, the barman said.

Johnpaulwilson1 – journalism. Winchester News Online archive reports. Years ago I wrote a letter to myself…. Many a surprise in there, not least the boy who had influenced me…. 8216;A bit of a dagger to the heart’… I’d plunged that dagger with my words, my racist words. Cowardly, only off camera would I ask Jez if he recalled my abuse. With words to the effect that the boy is not the man, he would influence me again. 8216;He was a gentleman’ Michael (Mic now) said of Jez back then. The greatest achieveme...

Nepal – Kathmandu valley, temples. This note is more of an excuse to share some pictures, rather than add notes. I guess some of the most exciting and unique things you’ll see in Nepal are linked to religion in one way or another, though. Below: Boudhanath (go at dawn for the most atmospheric experience). There’s one thing I would really REALLY recommend in Torino, and that’s the National Cinema Museum. And the cafe is not bad either. Kathmandu, Nepal – Eat, Drink, Sleep, Shop. A gem of a restaurant and ...
På äventyr i Nya Zeeland
Snälla, gör inte det här. Mud Bath i Rotorua.
