Our Scotland Trip 2009 | Just another WordPress.com weblog
Our Scotland Trip 2009. Just another WordPress.com weblog. October 22, 2009. We based the first half of our stay in Scotland in the town of Stirling. Stirling, scene of the Battle of Stirling Bridge. Close to the Battle of Bannockburn. Famous for William Wallace and the movie Braveheart. We arrived on Saturday around lunch time and had to hang out for a while before we could go to pick up the keys for the apartment. Although I was on vacation and I didn’t plan on doing much cooking, I really liked ...

ourtriptothemoon | a journey through an autism diagnosis
A journey through an autism diagnosis. To All the Parents Who Failed Today. I want my children to see that I tried my best. I want my children to see that I never gave up. I want my children to watch me stumble and fumble my way through being a parent. I want my children to see me make mistakes. I think the illusion of holding it together causes far more anxiety. Children are smart. If you think you’re fooling them think again. I would rather my children see me fail but see me try again. Love is not enou...

We do love a bit Disney bounding and I love making her dresses themed to each of the theme parks, or a particular character meal we might be having. Here's the ones I made her last year for our November 2014 trip. I just love the flutter sleeves on this style. Lots of Mum points earnt today! I actually made this Rapunzel dress for a birthday party that we were invited to, but we also took it t Disney with us...

Uganda: Before, During, and After
Uganda: Before, During, and After. In May 2010, we are traveling to Uganda for what we expect will be a life-changing trip. Jesus told the disciples to pray: “…pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Luke 10:2. We are called to be God's laborers. This is our story of preparation, anticipation, and experiencing "finding out where God is at work and joining Him there.". Check Out Our Family Blog Too. Is a fan of. Just Love Coffee Roasters. Our trip to Uganda. You’re at the best WordPress.com site ever. Sun Tan and Eggs – Day 2. February 25, 2013. Sun Tan and Eggs – Day 2. First and foremost, I have started to Tan! The girls however disagree saying it is just the bathroom light but I’m sticking with TAN). Today we relaxed and went western. The rest of afternoon was HOT! So we chilled in the garden soaking up the rays (hence the tan) and besides the killer ant attacks, my Bob Marley CD and a cold beer had never been so good, it was amazing.

Goodrich's in Washington
Thursday, August 21, 2008. The drive to Seattle took us about 12 hours. We were so excited to be going somewhere so the ride didn't seem that long. On our way we passed through 3 states: Idaho. The ride home was a little longer since we were a little further west. This ride did go on forever! We had had lots of fun but we were ready to be home and with our sweet Molly. It also seemed longer because of the time difference (Seattle is an hour behind). Wednesday, August 20, 2008. The Great City of Seattle.
