Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Augusta Evelyn's Birth Story. I’m Mommy’s wish come true. This was written on a baby outfit that one of my friends gave me at my baby shower. I had received a lot of baby gifts like that with shirts that read mommy’s little angel, little sister, and daddy’s princess, but this one was perfect. I remember opening it and thinking how fitting that saying was. After all, I had always wanted a girl. I grew up playing with Barbies, taking gymnastics classes, and making necklaces.
