This blog decribes our brief 2 days of travel through Malaysia. We were going to do quite a bit here but decided to use the alloted time to explore Laos further. Next time! Saturday, January 27, 2007. Short Malaysia Hop Over. Just over 15kg check-in each and about 12kg hand baggage in hand we were dropped off at the airport and successfully boarded our plane (because we slipped through the hand luggage check point while they were checking someone else's hand luggage! This blog decribes our 11 days of travel through the Brazilian Amazon (25 July 2006 - 5 August 2006). We took off some time to travel the world. Our journey took us away from family and friends on the 19 th. Of March 2006. We flew direct from Cape Town to Buenos. And then travelled through Argentina. Down to Patagonia. We crossed into Chile. For trekking and travelled up Chile. Stopping over at Easter Island. We ended up way North in the Atacama desert where we crossed into Bolivia. After some Spanish, mountain biking, jungle exploring and cheap food we headed to Peru. On the 12 th. We were off to Nepal.

Friday, January 19, 2007. The first afternoon was for chilling and doing nothing - as was the day after. We did discover a great restaurant, with the perfect view of the river sunset, where we dined most delightfully. No less than 3 of our meals happened here - each time the same food! Besides the gifts we spent the morning exploring on our bikes again and chilling by the riverside.
