I decided to try out both the smoke and grilling features for my first attempt by cooking some reverse seared ribeyes. I let these smoke at 200F for 45 minutes.

Fried Potato and Smoked Ham Fattie on the Hasty Bake. I know I make these a lot. this is my absolute favorite filling. :). I wanted to see how the Hasty Bake Gourmet would handle the job. I made some sausage, rolled it out inside of a one gallon baggie. ( I used about 1 1/2lbs of sausage for this). Made my bacon weave.

Building a cold smoker (smokehouse). My original smokehouse plan was to make something big enough to cold smoke two pigs worth of hams and bacon at a time. I only butcher pigs once or twice a year for curing,.but I cook several pigs a year on my cinderblock pit. I purchased the smoke stack.it has a damper built in.
