Fold ramblin’ and wingate canyon headin’. I don’t think I’ve ever come to so many places in one trip where I said, “no way this goes” and then, just barely, it does. I laughed more than once recalling Dave’s story. Of running around up here in the dark. For the time of year water was surprisingly scarce. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. The Arkansas River isn't much of a river this time of year. Last Wednesday was the worst I've seen it; scattered puddles with no discernible movement at all.
