London Living: March 2013
http://cmjinlondon.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 16, 2013. CREATIVE MORNINGS ROUND 2 – SPENCER WYNN. This Creative Mornings talk was a vastly different experience from the last –– at least for me. Perhaps because it was my second time attending, I felt comfortable enough to go on my own. It's always a struggle to get out of bed that early in the morning, but it is absolutely worth it. There always seems to be a large number of people exclaiming "it's my first time! Behrouz Hariri, who runs the lectures, opened up a "Town Hall" type plat...

Friday, May 31, 2013. FAMILY VISITS and MONTREAL. I recently went on a quick trip to Montreal to visit family friends. They have a lovely place in the suburbs and were kind enough to show me around the city. The weekend before that I went with my brother, sister-in-law and nephews and niece to visit with my grandparents. Here are some photographs from those excursions, shot on my OM10. Forgive me, on some I was too lazy to edit out the dust! Links to this post. Sunday, May 12, 2013. Links to this post.

Saturday, October 25, 2014. The best times at work is when I can sneak off and let my imagination run wild. We have the opportunity to come up with some branding for a new show called "Toronto of the Future." Which has been perpetually delayed due to our hectic schedules. As you can see I've been kind of fixated on texture and gradients lately. Happy weekend to you! Links to this post. Thursday, October 23, 2014. SO WE WENT ON A ROADTRIP — PART 5: PORTLAND! Portland didn't get a chance to impress us....
London Living: September 2014

Sunday, September 28, 2014. WE WENT ON A ROAD TRIP — PART 2. The little car that could (but wanted to die), Califia Farms iced almond milk latte/mocha, More Wholefoods donuts, An Australian's 1st drive in 2 years, GPS navigational deceit, the gas station domestic (overheard), so much mist. Here is a little excerpt of our drive. We were listening to Little Comets at the time, so I included the audio but didn't ask their permission. Hope they don't mind! Links to this post. Sunday, September 15, 2013. A SPLASH OF CORPORATE CREATIVITY. I've been having quite a bit of fun creating things at work! The projects I'm currently working on have allowed me to get a little more experimental, which I love! Of course, in the end it's all about pleasing the client! The brief was to produce two invites - one for an Interior Design lecture themed "mixed-use spaces" and another for an Architectural lecture with the theme of "water sustainability in Architecture.". Saturday, August 30, 2014. FORGOTTEN FILM — A LOVELY TREAT. I discovered a forgotten roll of film left in my camera from my trip to the UK/Italy. So these are a bit passé, but still gems since they feature two of my favourite people. Happy times! Links to this post. Saturday, August 23, 2014. I am just so delighted to have produced something after such a lengthy creative drought. Links to this post. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. PHOTO WALK TO RELIEVE CREATIVE DROUGHT. Links to this post. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. HAPPINESS IS. A DX LECTURE. Last night I attended my first talk at the Design Exchange in Toronto. Outside of an educational curriculum, I had very little experience in attending lectures, particularly here in Canada. Given my biased against Toronto (and attitude that it will NEVER measure up to London), I did not expect to find such an intriguing event taking place in this city. Coinciding with Stefan Sagmeister's The Happy Show. 1) a state of well-being and contentment.

Outside the Blue
December 11, 2008 · 10:31 am. Snow day on the bayou. December 7, 2008 · 5:07 pm. We’ve finished and mailed all of our ornaments for the ornament swap. I think they turned out really cute, in fact we made extras for the grandparents (none of whom read this blog, so I can post about them now). First we painted Henry’s fingers and the top part of the palm of his hand with white acrylic craft paint, they become the four snowman on the ornament. He did this part by himself after we did the first one. We also ...

Outside The Blue Box | A Chronicle of Someone Differently Gendered
Outside The Blue Box. A Chronicle of Someone Differently Gendered. May 10, 2011. I sit here, writing this post, because I couldn’t think of what I wanted to write about that’s transgender-related. (This post won’t be.). This phenomenon of having trouble deciding what to choose isn’t really confined to my writing, actually. I have similar troubles with choosing lots of things… where to go out for dinner, what to do when I’m out with a friend, and so on. Am I answering my own question with this blog entry?

outsidethebocks...eli&ginny | ramblings from a box claustrophobic
Ramblings from a box claustrophobic. September 8, 2015. September 8, 2015. Old as I am and being brought to a place of understanding and forgiveness, I still long for a father sometimes. For a sense of strength that is always on my side no matter what…without question and without feeling embarrassed about it. For an emotional encourager, not necessarily by words said or the timing of them, or even by just being there….but by me knowing that he is. What would that be like? To sit quietly with. So…I ...
