Plaint of the Playwright. Thursday, May 03, 2007 ]. Recently, I recieved an email from a Chicago theater director named Bryan Cohen, who, like me, has been having trouble getting reviewers to see his show- so he's come up with an interesting solution: Invite reviewers and critics and have them do "community reviews," which I'll post here so that they can be found during a search or he can link to them. Directed by Bryan Cohen. A review by Paul Barile. The characters invoke the holy guru of improv Del Clo...

Plaint of the Playwright. Monday, March 26, 2007 ]. 30 Days Of Mystery. Hey, everyone,. Sometime last year (okay, the year before), I wrote a 30-chapter mystery novella called "Knock Knock," that I'm just dying to share. The thing is, I feel that when you hand someone a huge stack of paper (and a prose one, at that), it becomes this albatross in their house- that thing that they want to read, but will never get to (I'm sorta guilty of this one myself). And let me know. Posted by Rob on 1:33 PM link.

Plaint of the Playwright. Thursday, April 01, 2004 ]. So, Unemployment told me to go fuck myself. Okay, actually, my interview with the woman from Unemployment went pretty well, I thought. For those of you who haven't been there, what happens is that after you file your unemployment claim, they set up a time to call you and basically compare your story with your previous employer. Our sides- which, I have to add, is a better chance than I was given by my former employers.). Would that be in April, '03?
