Wednesday, November 30, 2011. I'm finally catching up. Here we all are on Halloween. Here we have the 3 werewolves, a monkey, a princess, and an octopus. Here's the car-ful of Trick or Treaters on our way to the "good" part of our neighborhood. Lindsay had a few friends join us. It was a party! Sad Another highlight was watching Calvin. Saturday, February 12, 2011. What is the fascination? I had my sewing machine and all its trimmings out. I hadn't realized that you could use a sewing machine to sew the badges on Cub Scout shirts. It really wasn't that hard. Boy, I sure had a lot of catching up to do. Later that week, my sewing stuff was still strewn around my bedroom, and I saw this:. No, not really. I think back to that idealistic mother of twelve and a half years ago with fondness and sometimes even longing. Happy Chinese New Year.

Friday, September 14, 2012. Back to School 2012. Another year of school. How can I possibly have a child in high school? Everyone seems to be doing well so far. They are enjoying their teachers, classes, and friends. Lindsay - 9th grade. Miles - 7th grade. Samuel and Wesley - 4th and 2nd grade. The olders won't let me take their picture by the sign of their new schools, sigh. And now on MWF mornings, it's just me and this little guy! Yes, we have gotten his haircut since this picture. Monday, January 07, 2013. At the Pumpkin Patch choosing our pumpkins; where's Grandpa Joe when we need him (Tim's Dad is a barber)' those boys need some serious haircuts. Outside the Corn Maze. Bobbing for apples with our neighbors. All of our masterpieces. Calvin was a lion. Wesley was a pirate. Julia was a fairy. Miles with all his candy; he organized them by color and from sweet to sour. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Matt took Brett and Ben to Alaska earlier this month. It was their first time joining the big boys. My Dad, and brother, Chris, were in for the week-long adventure as well. Friday, September 4, 2009. Aloha . . . I should start this post out by explaining that my Dad is an amazing photographer. He has a huge-er than huge camera that takes beautiful pictures. He took 1600 pictures (we took 500) on this trip to Hawaii and nearly killed the memory on my laptop when I loaded them. Thanks, Dad, for helping us preserve such great memories. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. When we were in Provo, the boys wanted to go see the baseball field because they are both planning on playing for BYU. I don't know why it was open, but we walked right in and were able to head right down on the field. We probably shouldn't have - but it was " soo. Cool" according to the guys! Thursday, February 26, 2009. Mornings at our home usually begin with groans and moans. I homeschool. Usually the boys are rolling their eyes at how corny they are, but it certainly changes our morning mood. I always wanted to be one of those people that could just rattle off a few witty jokes. Saturday, February 13, 2010. Our late Christmas present - Maui! Boy, do we love Matt. Did I mention that we love Matt? We had so much rain through January that I thought I would cry! I am a sun loving girl and boy did Matt pull through. We were able to finagle. A trip to Maui right in the middle of the huge storms that were pounding the heck out of California.
