Saturday, August 13, 2011. The "Aggressor Viper" work: Tamiya 1/48. The beautiful "Blue Flanker" aggressor scheme is really eye-catching. Posted by Diego Quijano. August 13, 2011 at 3:26 PM. Nicely done but I think you should have done the moose too. August 13, 2011 at 3:57 PM. Yep, it would be a nice element for the base. Not a bad idea, ha, ha. Thank you pal. :). Diego Quijano Scaleworks: The "Predator" work: Vinyl recast 1/6.
http://dqscaleworks.blogspot.com/2011/07/predator-work-vinyl-recast-16.html
Saturday, July 30, 2011. The "Predator" work: Vinyl recast 1/6. This was the central figure of the scene so I made some transformation to get a fierce pose by rising arms and head, and adding the skinned skull and the ritual machete. The Predator’s skin was entirely painted with airbrush and Tamiya paints, including the spotted zones. Everything else is hand painted with Vallejo acrylics. Is healthy to feel like the prey from time to time. Posted by Diego Quijano. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://dqscaleworks.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-mig-21-chronicle-8.html
Sunday, August 24, 2014. The Mig-21 chronicle (8). Ok, a final update with photos of the finished quick diorama. Just some elements to put the Mig into context. I used a Soviet Hex Airfield from Uschi Van Der Rosten,. An Ural fuel tanker from Balaton Models, a soviet weapons loading cart by Aerobonus, photoetched wheel chocks from Brengun and a photoetched ladder from Eduard. The gorgeous photos were shooted by Ricardo Rodríguez. Here is the link for the whole aircraft photos: Mig-21. Wow Very good looki...

Diego Quijano Scaleworks: The "Alien vs Predator" work: Vinyl 1/6.
http://dqscaleworks.blogspot.com/2012/02/alien-vs-predator-work-vinyl-16.html
Saturday, February 11, 2012. The "Alien vs Predator" work: Vinyl 1/6. Ok, a little bit of Sci-Fi again. I love the Alien saga and the Predator saga so the conclusion is obvious; I also love the Alien vs. Predator saga. Of course it was really fun to build, especially the pile of bloody skulls! I tried to combine the poses of the figures in the most natural way possible though it was not easy and I had to change some pose. Anyway a think the result looks nice. You know…shit happens! Diego Quijano Scaleworks: The "Cat from Hell" work: Eduard 1/72.
http://dqscaleworks.blogspot.com/2012/03/cat-from-hell-work-eduard-172.html
Thursday, March 8, 2012. The "Cat from Hell" work: Eduard 1/72. This is how the finished thing looks. The hangar deck catapult base is made from styrene sheet, I think it is a nice display for the Hellcat. I remade the antenna wire, added the missed pitot probe and made the light blue a little brighter with diluted white oil paint to enhance the contrast with the dark blue. I think that the whole thing looks better now. Oh, and I riveted the surface with the spur riveter, as usual. The new antenna wire m...
