Dinsdag 26 januari 2010. BARTG Sprint RTTY Contest. Weekend of 23-24 Januar i was active during the. BARTG Sprint RTTY Contest. This is a 24 hour contest,from saturday 12 utc till sunday 12 utc. Started at 12 utc at the 20M band.Propagation looked ok. I got 40 qso's logged in the first hour.Also a few stations from NA already. At 1447 i took a break to walk with my Husky's.At this time i got 94 qso's logged. Also LX1EA was logged,always nice but difficult for me to get LX. At 1538 back at the radio.

Dinsdag 27 maart 2012. Finally the time the time was there that i coult put up my small tower.The last few months my FB13 was at a small pipe just 5 meters above the ground.In Februar i started the project and now one week ago,finally the day was there that it coult get up. I live in a small town and have many houses near me.This means that i coult only get a small tower.The height of my antenna's are:. FB13 at 11 meters and the GB 40M Rotary dipole at 12 meters. Zondag 31 mei 2009. He past weekend was the CQ WPX Contest in CW.Last year was the. First time i joined this contest.I'm not able to operate CW with a key and understand all,i. Make use of my computer and MixW for this.A combination what can work very. Good as well,only not the weak signals. Ast year i got a certificate from CQ,i was as Rookie low power, #1 from Netherlands, #5 from Europe and #6 from the World.Total points 187.110. Dinsdag 14 december 2010. The past weekend was again the ARRL 10M Contest.This contest covers the whole weekend,48 hours. I was a little afraid about the propagation.The 10M band was for a few weeks ago better then it was the week before the contest.But everyone who knows how the 10M band can be,there's always hope,hi. Saturday morning when i put on the radio it was very quiet on the band.Nothing in SSB and very low signals on CW.So it didn't look very well. ARRL 10 meter contest. Maandag 6 december 2010.

Woensdag 6 april 2011. In the past days,the 10M band is very wide open. Some weeks ago we had also one day with openings,but the day after it was gone. Most of the propagation we have on 10M is to Africa or South America. But in the past 2 weeks the openings changed. On the 23th of March i managed to work my first station from NA on CW on thje 10M band. It was N4BP.he was the only one i could hear from NA as well. Maandag 29 november 2010. He past weekend was again the CQ WW in CW.A very big contest with alot of stations that are joining it.This isn't only a nice contest for itself,but also a possibility to work some very nice DXCC's.Many op's are going to other places to get different DXCC and Zones on the air. Vrijdag 25 februari 2011. He Dutch PACC Contest is already 2 weeks over now. This time i wasn't contesting from my own home,but was in a Holidayhouse we are taking care of. Woensdag 7 september 2011. Field Day Contest (SSB) and WWF PAFF-038. Sunday the 4th of September,i was active in the Field Day Contest as PD7BZ/p. I was active just with a small setup and 25 Watts. The place i was active in,Boswachterij Grolloo,also counts as WFF PAFF-038. As we know,it was the first activation on HF from this WFF area. Setup was a Yaesu FT857 (25W) with Heil Headset. Antenna was the HF6V from Butternut,with 12 wire radials connected. Powersupply was the Diamond GSV3000. Gear was setup :).

Donderdag 30 september 2010. He past weekend was again the CQ WW RTTY. Contest.I always like Contesting and most also in RTTY.I started at 0:15 UTC and as the 20M band was closed,i went to the 40M band. For this i use my PKW MHF1e40 who is on the roof,static in the North West-South East direction.This because in the big contest there are alot of NA stations active and they also count for more points.
