Family of a NAVY dentist: April 2015
http://familyofadentalschoolstudent.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Family of a NAVY dentist. Sunday, April 26, 2015. I dont get mad at my children. While in Sunday school, (the 20 minutes that I actually got thanks to my wiggly Jocelyn girl) they were talking about judging others. Why we shouldn't; why it is wrong; why we are supposed to love others; why we don't know someone else's circumstances, etc. This was a great discussion, and then it turned to raising our children. Do I get mad at my children when they make mistakes? Should I let these little behaviors drive me...

The Damndest Thing: January 2011
http://thedamndestthing.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 16, 2011. Once a lady, always my lady. About 10 years ago a lovely lady stomped into my life. At the time she wasn’t too interested in staying around…but after a Cache Valley summer of Sunday low-cal cakes, tales of Tabby, chitty chat, a little too much classical gas and a some-what embarrassing sandy day at Bear Lake I decided I couldn’t live without her. I haven’t looked back since. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe To My Blog. Once a lady, always my lady. Em, Ky, Jonah.

Family of a NAVY dentist: "Test Taking Master"
http://familyofadentalschoolstudent.blogspot.com/2013/09/test-taking-master.html
Family of a NAVY dentist. Monday, September 30, 2013. Growing up in elementary and junior high school, I loved to take tests. I got a total rush competing against my friends, always comparing their grades to mine. Didn't matter the test - Timed math facts, spelling tests, reading comprehension, whatever. I knew I would nail it and I did. I always did. In high school, I was cool with tests until my senior year in calculus. My straight A's went away,. THANKS A LOT MR. TURNER! I began to hate people who cou...

Family of a NAVY dentist: May 2015
http://familyofadentalschoolstudent.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Family of a NAVY dentist. Sunday, May 31, 2015. He could possibly be the cutest little boy in the world. He is sweet, sincere, smart, silly, and he holds a special place in my heart. I get sad that he is officially done with preschool because that means he leaves me next year for kindergarten. I had a hard time with Afton, and I don't imagine it get any easier when it comes to my sweet boy. Song - "You Gotta Be". But, anyway, I'm rambling. I secretly hope that he had that foundation from the things I tri...

Family of a NAVY dentist: December 2014
http://familyofadentalschoolstudent.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Family of a NAVY dentist. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Did you get dressed up? Did you comb your hair? Did you put on makeup? Did you even brush your teeth? Well, we didn't. My sugar, Afton, and Jack have had the flu for the last 5 days. They've felt gross, and we're ALL exhausted. To ring in the New Year, we had to really take it easy. This was a fun way to practice telling time, recognizing two digit numbers, and reading. We got to do these fun activities, as we counted down to 8 pm. Now that I've exp...

Family of a NAVY dentist. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Sight Word Air Strip. Had to buy some new baby gates, well official baby gates,. Since my Jocelyn girl is now climbing over our make shift dining room chair gates that we've been using for months. Anyhow, Jack was excited to grab the cardboard that came on one of them and he instantly turned it into an air strip. They truly hate me.). He did a great job! Learning while playing and having fun. So, I'll continue to work with them and hopefully their teach...

Family of a NAVY dentist: August 2015
http://familyofadentalschoolstudent.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Family of a NAVY dentist. Monday, August 31, 2015. A Talk on Prayer. Speaking in church is always fun. NOT! I hope that my girl was actually listening in church today as I spoke these words, but in case she wasn't, here they are for her (and my other two babies) to read later on in life. I didn’t know what to speak on. We weren’t given a topic. Not sure if that. Is more stressful than actually being given a topic or not, but either way, I am sure I would stress. In fact, I know I would stress. She placed...

Family of a NAVY dentist: She is...
http://familyofadentalschoolstudent.blogspot.com/2015/08/she-is.html
Family of a NAVY dentist. Sunday, August 2, 2015. She's just busy. Crazy busy. She likes to climb. Everything. She likes to play. Constantly. She likes to read books. Repeatedly. She screams/squeals all the time. Loudly! She loves to snuggle. Sweetly. She loves everyone! She is smart, shy, sassy, and sweet. She is getting so big so fast. But she is still my baby, even if she's almost big enough for nursery. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sites That Distract Me! I married my sugar, Scott! My sugar ha...

Family of a NAVY dentist: Hotel Hell
http://familyofadentalschoolstudent.blogspot.com/2015/08/hotel-hell.html
Family of a NAVY dentist. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. At 3 in the morning on Halloween, our baby girl woke up fussing because she had been teething. This was the millionth night in a row that she had done this and I was going crazy (different kind of crazy from my usual crazy). But Daddy got up because he heard something else. Other than just a fussy baby. I rolled back over (Because I am a mean mom) and then I heard him say from the bathroom, "Oh no! Our house had flooded! Once the insurance people figured...
