This is what will happen on the day of the Swim. Swimmers will get additional printed information once they register. The timings below are approximate for the 2015 swim. As always they are dependent on weather and tidal conditions. All-day parking in the car park closest to the registration unit is £5.40. If this is full, we recommend the park and ride facility at the top of town near Tesco supermarket. Registration opens at 09.30am and closes at 12.00 (all swimmers must register in person). The swim has proved very popular in past years and as predicted it has now become full, with both categories filling up. Three months earlier than last year! The swim offers competent swimmers the unique opportunity of a one-mile open water swim in the popular Camel estuary under controlled conditions. All entrants must be capable of swimming at least one mile in open water. The swim is from the Sea Cadet slipway in Padstow (near the start of the Camel Trail) to the RNLI slipway in Rock.
