Rhea's Home Care - Financial Considerations

The standard rate is eighteen dollars per hour ($18/hr) or four dollars fifty cents per unit ($4.50/unit). A unit is fifteen minutes or less of visiting time. Several visits per day may be scheduled, each visit counting as at least one unit. Rhea's Home Care is qualified for and accepts the rates of a variety private and long term care insurances. RHC is qualified for and accepts payment by In Home Supportive Services (IHSS). Round-the-clock (24/7) care can be provided and rates can be negotiated.

Caregivers will tend to the client's personal needs ("ADLs") such as bathing, toileting requirements, care of the teeth, hair, finger and toenails. The caregiver will keep bedding, clothing and the immediate surrounding area clean and changed as required. The case manager seeks prospective care givers, interviews and vets candidates, checks records, verifies training, or refers candidates to approved training facilities, checks certifications and notes any special capabilities. The case manager will recommend care givers based on her/his compatibility with requirements and the client's and family's personal preferences. The case manager is the conduit between the doctor, the client and family and the care giver.
