It's All About the Handknits. Tuesday, December 19, 2006. Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. This is the extent of the holiday decorating I've done, but it sure made a difference in the holiday. The poinsettia decoration my big guy made for me. It's front and center on the fridge. I've given up on the Christmas knitting. What got done, got done. Maybe more next year. I'm attempting to knit a dish cloth per week this year and every year! Saturday, May 9, 2009. I did 15 of these dishcloths for the gift bags for Race for the Cure. We had more team members than that, but I drew the line at one per household. I actually knit the first 14 in a little less than 72 hours. It took about an hour to knit each one- I haven't knit since because my hands still hurt! I chose this pattern because it is quick and easily memorized. Posted by PamKnits @ 8:58 PM. It's All About the Handknits. Monday, July 31, 2006. For the New Nephew. The burp cloth and the bibs are from Mason-Dixon Knitting. I find it very interesting how the photos show a different perspective on the color way than they seem in real life. The color pooling is much more interesting in the photos. Here is a close up of the buttons. A little blurry? Maybe I should look for the instruction manual for my camera and figure out the macro setting? These hats and booties. It's All About the Handknits. Monday, January 15, 2007. Look what is finally finished! Isn't it a beauty? The Eyelet Cable Wrap Pullover from Knit and Style October 2006. I used Lush from Classic Elite yarns and am totally in love with this yarn. It's 50 angora and 50% wool and is so soft and cuddly. Yum.
