Muktinath.A memorable Journey! Thursday, October 3, 2013. Day 1Beni to Jomsom via Ghasa. Beni (28°21'0N 83°34'0E ) is the district headquarters of Myagdi District in Dhawalagiri Zone, Nepal located at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki River and Myagdi River at an altitude of 899 metres. Beni is the gateway to Muktinath. Earlier, it was a 8-9 days trek to reach Muktinath. But now, there are bus and taxi services from Beni to Jomsom. So, after buying tickets we took our seats in "Basant Express" (Our Bus).

Muktinath.A memorable Journey! Thursday, October 3, 2013. Day 2Jomsom to Muktinath. After a nice sleep in the cosy room our bodyache was almost gone. We went for a little hiking in the small Picturesque town of Jomsom. There is a small airport in Jomsom. Flights from Pokhara arrive. The jeep trail was through one of the world's deepest The Kali Gandaki Gorge. Our jeep left the gorge somewhere before Kagbeni. The Kali Gandaki river flows towards Damodar Kund.
