Project Open Arms

Friday, October 25, 2013. June 2013 Trip Recap. We returned Thursday from our Peru trip! We visited Yanamachi school, which we have been supporting since the beginning. We read stories with the kids and made butterfly crafts. Although not a nice school compared to schools in the States, it looked like a castle compared to the school we would see next. It was such a blessing that we were able to travel all the way to Lacco to see their needs and to know what God wants us to do next! Unfortuantely I haven'...

Project Open Arms: In Peru Now - January 2012

http://www.paopenarms.blogspot.com/2013/10/in-peru-now-january-2012.html

Friday, October 25, 2013. In Peru Now - January 2012. Unfortuantely I haven't gotten much of a chance to give an update until today, but the Lord delivered me safely to Nauta with absolutely no real complications. I am staying with a missionary named Chris and another visitor named Kelly. The house is very basic by American terms, but is very nice for here in Nauta. The town is amazing, the people are welcoming, and the Lord is clearly moving here. Thanks so much for your continued prayer and support!

Project Open Arms: Our 2011 Trip

Friday, October 25, 2013. We are excited to share with you about our recent mission trip to Peru in June of this year! God is doing many wonderful things in this big world that we live in! Overall, we donated over 400 books to the school this year—Yanamanchi’s first library! All of the books were beautiful picture books and chapter books translated in Spanish for the children and teachers to enjoy. The students in Emily’s 2nd grade class in Greencastle handpicked the books and organized them in...Along w...
