Where Christianity and caffeine collide. Friday, March 28, 2008. Recently I have been made aware of a trend in Christian circles that takes a very lax view towards untoward speech. That concerns me. There are constant 'redefinitions' and claims that some words aren't so bad, etc, etc. But this desire of evangelicals to get closer and closer to the line of being like the world concerns me greatly. I spent about one week without internet, and then spent one week in 5 different states: Indiana (of course), Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky. Trolling motor, fishing poles, vests and seat cushions, etc, etc. Not having gone out on a boat in a while, you can imagine how excited we were to be able to fish the lakes around us. And we have!
