Thursday, July 08, 2010. Has it really been, oh, say 6 whole months since I posted? I do miss the food in France along with dark bedrooms. It's hard for me to understand why the French don't do screens and Americans don't do the dark shutters. Some kind of combo of the two would be perfect for me! And random people who just walk up to recommend good books! It seems too good to be true. Today they had a children's music concert and it was awesome. Posted by Pardon My French. Sunday, December 06, 2009. So Many Reasons to Love My Husband. Here are but two:. 2) Today he built me a sewing desk since I didn't have anywhere to put my machine. It's very basic - we bought the legs at IKEA and then he cut a board to the size I wanted, but it's dead cheap and I couldn't find anything that fit the dimensions I wanted, and I wouldn't have been able to make one as nice as he did, that's for sure. Did you have a hard time convincing your French husband to name your daughter Ella since its pretty close to the word she? I always thought it was weird that my English speaking friends kids spoke better French than I did. But good on you for teaching her both languages! Check in when you get a chance. We are over the moon that everything looks as it should be and she is growing perfectly. Tuesday, October 09, 2007. Unfortunately there has been some trouble as I have been having a horrible time with my teeth and gums. I have had an ongoing infection since few weeks ago and a wisdom tooth that needs to come out, but the dentist wants to wait after the pregnancy to do the extraction. I had to do it as they said the infection is worse for both of us, but it has been an agonizing time. I will update you on Thursday! Boy or girl, your baby will be so lucky and very loved.
