Expectations….and reality | Parenting with Courage

https://parentingwithcourage.wordpress.com/2011/11/04/expectations-and-reality

Courageous and powerful parenting tips from MaryAnn Ball. Expectations….and reality. Recently I heard it reported that soon the Earth’s population will pass the seven billion mark. YIKES! GRAB THE BIRTH CONTROL! THE EARTH CAN’T SUSTAIN US ALL! Have these people never been to Wyoming? Have they never driven through Idaho, Utah, NEVADA? The next best thing to go to the RV park I had found online before the trip. It looked like a nice place online, and we were ready to call it a day. Behind the sign we coul...

Courageous and powerful parenting tips from MaryAnn Ball. Good-bye, Dad…until we meet again. Ross D. Thurber, 1925 - 2011. I’ve been at the side of my father’s death-bed this past week. The experience of watching him die has been sweet, peaceful and just a little sad — especially for my mom. Dad was a good man. A really good man. Many people have been greatly blessed because he touched their lives. He was not afraid to die, the mark of a man at peace with his life and with his Savior. Lovely post mom&#46...

It's not what you do. It's how you do it. Falling in Love with Samantha. Hello blogging friends. I’ve been out of the blogosphere for nearly a year now and it’s only because I’ve been so busy. My little business, Page One Power. Has taken off and is keeping most of my mental powers occupied. My children, all five of them, like to consume the remaining bits of energy I have when I get back from work and then my wife hopes for a second wind from me every night at 9PM when everyone is asleep. It's not what you do. It's how you do it. Falling in Love with Samantha. The Worlds Youngest Stalker. Where's she going? For a few months Sam had a stalker. It was her daughter, Kimi. During this time Sam always had Kimi at her feet. Unless Kimi could see Sam she didn’t feel good so she chased her all day. Sam didn’t mind but if had been me I think I would have hid just to get a little peace. It lasted only a couple of months. Now she’s only a “semi-stalker”. July 24, 2011 at 12:00 PM. parentingwithconfidence's Blog | Good advice on raising well adjusted happy children!

Good advice on raising well adjusted happy children! History shows us many things about humanity as a whole, about nations and people! We can choose to learn from it, or as often happens, ignore it and make the same mistakes over and over again. One thing is for certain: nations rise and fall with the strenght of their individual family units! We have a lot of work ahead of us if we want to turn the tide, but we can rebuild our country’s foundation one family at the time, if we are willing! I believe, th...

Parenting With Crunch | Preschool crafts, book reviews, and delicious recipes

Preschool crafts, book reviews, and delicious recipes. Me on the Map. April 8, 2013. As we begin our study of North America, I wanted to help reinforce the idea of “continent” with a Me on the Map project. I’ve seen several variations of these and decided for our purposes the handheld, concentric circles would work best. I used my Creative Memories circle cutter set to cut 7 different circles from about 3 1/4 to 6 1/4″. I used cardstock in the following colors:. Planet: black (to represent space). For th...

Parenting With Dignity

Mac Bledsoe teaches parents how to instill a sense of responsible decision making in their kids. April 01, 2010. There is so much being written about bullying in the media the past couple of weeks because of a few events that have caught the attention of the national media, and I would just like to weigh in on the commentary. So much of the advice being offered seems to me to be waiting until it is a little late. PREVENTION is the only rational solution! If almost every other child that they come in cont...
