Rita and Wayne may live in Petaluma, CA, but they have French ancestry. They are Petite Basset Griffon Vendeen's, aka PBGV's or Peeb's, a type of hound. I met a Peeb named Oscar (or os-CAIRE, as his marchande mom pronounced) at Marché aux Puces, so I know Peeb's live in Paris, as well as Petaluma.

I have had a roiling boiling stomach ever since I ate in the North Korean restaurant on Sunday. I am now convinced that "they" purposefully did something to the food to cause my distress. Here I Go Again. Three months as a volunteer in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Sunday, July 21, 2013. One way to know it is time to go home. When you open up your email and see a picture like this -. While its not as bad as getting a ransom note it does tell me that things are getting a bit "unsettled" at home (my dog would never be caught dead wearing a tie). So, yes, I will be getting on a plane at 11:20 PM tonight headed for an 11 hour layover in Seoul and then a long flight home. Tonle FM 105.5.

The Desert Rat Chronicles. Thursday, November 29, 2012. Years and years ago when the kiddos were young I baked up a storm for Christmas. Peanut brittle. Toffee. Fudge. Pounds and pounds of fudge. Chocolate-covered pretzels. Banana bread. Strawberry bread. Fruitcake (yes, I am the one person in the world who loves fruitcake! Rum cake. Zucchini bread. Pumpkin bread. Thumbprint cookies. Candy cane cookies. Gingerbread men. Decorated sugar cookies. I loved all that baking! I even made plum pudding one year!
