Lucid Dreams: Strawberry Fields: A tribute
http://joylessdivision.blogspot.com/2011/11/strawberry-fields-tribute.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Strawberry Fields: A tribute. There is something about Strawberry Fields. Half of my euphoria about getting into law school stemmed from the fact that my college organized Strawberry Fields, India’s largest competition for bands, a three day festival where people would play rock music, live. I had never seen a concert where rock music was played, Allahabad wasn’t that kind of place. Did it live up to my expectations? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Way In The World.

Lucid Dreams: April 2012
http://joylessdivision.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 04, 2012. Jaipur Literary Festival: Day 1. I wrote this on the 2nd day of the Jaipur Literary Festival. I was too lazy to write descriptions of any other sessions and I can’t remember details of most others. Suffice to say it was an amazing experience and deserves a lot more written about it. After asking a very stupid question, which I immediately regretted, I left, kind of content. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jaipur Literary Festival: Day 1. View my complete profile.

Whatchamacaulit?: Why the Clouds Won't Stay
http://whatandwhatever.blogspot.com/2014/05/why-clouds-wont-stay.html
Slice a lemon and savour the knife. Friday 16 May 2014. Why the Clouds Won't Stay. The medium-sized courtyard is dimly lit. Plants and potted lights try in vain to decorate it. Well intentioned fountains spurt air. A hundred windows rise in stacks on all four sides, framing the clouds in a square. They move in and very quickly out of the frame as though desperate to escape its definitions. No cloud stays in there longer than a wide. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Slice a lemon and savour the knife. Tuesday 22 May 2012. Skin peeling around nails. Sand skidding under wheels. Paint stretching across canvas. Love wrenching inside hearts. Light piercing through the atmosphere. Lines borrowing into faces. Dreams flitting through lives. Stars grazing the horizon. Current cutting through the night. Body balancing on fragile feet. Notes pining through a guitar. Faith crying out to god. Mouths gaping for food. Blood longing for a drink. Ropes hanging down from trees. Quest...

Whatchamacaulit?: White Stuff
http://whatandwhatever.blogspot.com/2014/08/white-stuff.html
Slice a lemon and savour the knife. Wednesday 20 August 2014. I sit back and choose. To be unreliable once more. And you shake your head. In your gloomy corner. And see me fall,. Chalky white and rudely. In your face like dandruff. You tell yourself that. You shall have nothing to. Do with me anymore. That I stand on shaky ground. And when I flake,. You feel some remote, unseen. Part of you crumbling down. Like the old white dust. Of an ancient mansion. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
