Parkour Training Blog: Harder, Faster, Stronger
http://rowan-traceur.blogspot.com/2008/06/harder-faster-stronger.html
Monday, June 16, 2008. Harder, Faster, Stronger. Well, so much for once a week. In fact I haven't posted for quite some time. Apart from not really having time, I kind of thought once a week posts would be pointless and boring. So I've been a bit quiet but that doesn't mean I haven't been training hard! Quick fast and effortless climb ups. One armed chin ups (at this stage one on each arm). Good double arm muscle ups. I also aim to meet these goals in my training once week:. 40 arm jumps climbup. I've be...

Cimp: Tuggeranong Training
http://cimpstyle.blogspot.com/2008/11/tuggeranong-training.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. Trained in Tugerrs today. It was really good. I havent trained for nearly two months now, and i havent trained in tuggers for at least a year. We moved around a lot, spending most of the time at sandstone. I've realised that sandstone is a really good place to run a class. I can't really be bothered to go into the details, but it was really good to start moving again, start training again. We trained for about 5 hours, and i didn't get home unto 8pm. Man it was good.

Cimp: January 2008
http://cimpstyle.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 18, 2008. I recently got back from Sydney. It wasn't a parkour trip but I was able to get in some training. I was able to meet up with some of the Sydney guys a couple of times. It was good to train in Sydney again, because I got to hit up all the spots that we hit up during NatJam 06. We also trained at some more spots that I didn’t know about. I could also see how my skills had developed over the years. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Read if you want. Read if you want. Over the past 200 years we have become, more than ever, slaves to consumerism. No longer do we buy things for our surviva...

Cimp: September 2008
http://cimpstyle.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2008. Started today with the regular APA class in Belconnen. From there a few of us went to train at John Knight park. I've found that I've lost a bit of mental confidence as I haven't trained for a while, but that the short break as helped in giving me a bit of a rest. So we played around on the rocks for a bit. I ended up doing some awesome muscle up training with Eliot. We did over 10 muscle ups each, playing one for one. Friday, September 26, 2008. I got to properly try out my n...

Cimp: Gym
http://cimpstyle.blogspot.com/2008/11/gym.html
Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Went to gym this afternoon. Did an all round body exercise. So heres what I got up to. I've found that my pulling strength is getting a lot better. Now all I have to do is keep training! A few days ago, I did some light strength training with a friend outside. I made up a new game too, doing as many squats on a rail in a row as possible. My best was ten. It was good as it helped in conditioning both my knees and ankles at the same time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Cimp: December 2008
http://cimpstyle.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Did some training in civic with ruoF, the other day. I found it really hard to get into the mood, to get ewxcited about the training. I started to get excited when I started doing this random hand stand poses, coming in from a cart-wheel. We trained for about 1 to 2 hours, only hitting up toast and noise wall. I come to realise how much you can actualyl do at noise wall, and appreciate it more than i used to. Saturday, December 6, 2008. On the way out, we found a really good...

Saturday, May 31, 2008. APA Class - Civic. Today we taught class in civic. Started with the normal warm up with dynamic stretches, landings and rolls. From there we moved to the stairs for conditioning, everybodys favourite part of the class. LOL! From there we went back to noise wall to warm down. Sunday, May 25, 2008. APA Class - Belco. We had the class in belco. 25 people showed up, 15 of which had been before. This is good as it shows that our retention rates are getting better. Saturday, May 17, 2008.

Cimp: Gym
http://cimpstyle.blogspot.com/2008/10/gym_28.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. I went to the gym this afternoon. I focussed on upper body work, as I had torn a ligament in my ankle at basketball training yesterday. So here's what I did;. Split into 5 sets. I found that I really struggled in getting through the last 2 sets, I really have to get myself back up to the level that I used to be at. I plan on getting into more cardio, mainly running, a I know that I really have to improve my fitness. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
