Going off the grid in the Atlas Mountains. January 11, 2016. January 12, 2016. The beautiful Atlas Mountains are about an hour away from the wonderful Marrakech. We were staying right in the heart of Marrakech which I have to say is one of the most eyeopening cities I have ever visited. The sights and sounds were incredible but it was always a relief getting back into our Riad (hotel) which was always had a calm and quiet enviroment. Our journey to the Atlas Mountains was stunning!
